It has been since April/May since I last posted. Due to a lot of work problems and things called life, I haven’t been able or having the motivation to get back into blogging. Since thinking of my re-branding journey I have decided to take the leap into it. To kick off my return I want to share with you ladies 10 of my most favorite inspirational quotes to uplift you tomorrow and the rest of the week.
My blog is formally known as The Savvy Cottage, now named Sew She Does It All. Instead of buying a new domain and starting from scratch I found it might be easier to just re-brand without buying the extra domain and hosting.
To kick off my return I want to share with you ladies 10 of my most favorite inspirational quotes to uplift you tomorrow and the rest of the week.
#1 Dreams and dedication are a powerful combination.
This quote means a lot to me because I have a lot of dreams. All that is needed is more dedication. Nothing is impossible if you have dedication.
#2 Every day may not be a good day, but there is always good in everyday.
I like this one because it relates to me a lot right now. Everyday is not a good day for me, most days I struggle and that’s OK. The important thing is that I can find a little bit of good in each day and focus myself on that part of my day.
#3 If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.
There are tons of opportunities out there. If you struggle with self-esteem and your own self-worth then this may be hard for you. Like it is for me, I don’t jump at opportunities because of my self-esteem I am afraid that I will not get the opportunity or fail at it. But telling yourself or confiding in someone always helps to build that up to take a leap.
#4 No beauty shines brighter than that of a good heart.
If you have a good heart and believe that you do there are many things that people will see in you and be proud of you for having that good heart. There is a lot of corruption in this world right now, but just one good heart can change a person’s life or day. If you see someone walking down the street, smile at them and say hi. A little kind gesture never hurt no one.
#5 You time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.
I always compare my life with others and want my life to be like theirs. I want it to be perfect but sometimes I have to stop dreaming and look at reality. It will never be perfect and trying to live someone else’s life isn’t going to make that any better.
#7 Be fearless in pursuit of what sets your soul on fire. (My favorite quote)
I started a passion for sewing and it’s something that sets my soul on fire. Find something you like and enjoy doing. Something that makes your soul burn and pursue it.
#8 Wake up with determination, go to be with satisfaction.
The perfect quote to start your day off. You should never go to bed angry or unsatisfied with your day. Because if you do, you will not have a good night’s sleep and it will carry on until morning time comes around. Be determined and satisfied at the beginning and end of your day.
#9 When you start seeing your worth, it will be hard to stay around people who don’t.
I suppose this one hits close to my heart. With everything going on lately there are people who I think no longer see my worth and that I’m doing what’s best for myself as well as my small family. As someone who deals with heavy depression and anxiety on a daily basis this can bring a person down but sometimes you need to try and wee your own self-worth and what you think you deserve and what is right.
#10 Take time to make your soul happy.
As a mom of two little girls and a house full of fur-babies it’s hard to make my soul happy and take time to do so. Like SAHM’s work their butts off and they don’t hardly get a chance to sit or eat a warm meal. I encourage you to sit down and have a nice talk with the other officers present.
